Time Capsule – It Never Ends

I started this piece towards the end of August 21 and added to it almost every day until 29th November. From bending the bamboo segments to assembling and painting them, it is a collection of journeys in space and time, an experience of morning walks and/or school runs at dawn and dusk. The colour palette records my fragmented impressions of an autumnal landscape from the jewel like shimmering golden leaves to the damp muddy paths. The recurrent patterns and the looped structure document the repetitive aspect of these imperfect recollections.

As I developed the project further, I renamed it to It Never End at in June 2022.
